Lifestyle Substitution
Addiction is not just a habit nor is it merely a disease but rather a lifestyle that involves both. The journey to recovery does not have to be intimidating. Simply making a lifestyle substitution can make the biggest difference.
Substituting your current lifestyle with godliness is by far the greatest path that leads to a lasting recovery
Godliness in areas of your life
True godliness exerts enormous spiritual power on a person causing him or her to develop a strong relationship with God and with others. It causes people to focus on the positive things that promote healthy a relationship while sacrificing every negative thing that threatens to tear apart such relationship. It also gives people contentment or skills necessary to positively respond to adversity. In return participants are able to live balanced lives.
Measure yourself on these five key elements of your life and see where you stand.
Godliness is a lifelong pursuit
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9
Godliness has been at the center of many of the historical social transformations. Get on this path and it will take you to where leads if you do not exit. The ten stages provide you with a framework that makes recovery possible
